ADMIN:
To confirm the booking we ask you to download our booking form. Please complete & and either scan and email to Michelle (email address above) or post to Michelle at the address given on the form (postal address also given below). Unless alternative arrangements are made, provisional bookings will be held for one week from initial verbal agreement, pending receipt of the deposit.

RENTAL:
When a booking is made a non-returnable rental deposit of 20% of the total rental price will be required. Reservations made within 12 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking. Receipt of the rental deposit (or full amount) and a signed booking form will confirm the booking. Any rental balance will be expected 12 weeks prior to the holiday start date. Please let us know if you require a written receipt and we'll send one in the post, otherwise confirmation will be emailed.
BREAKAGE DEPOSIT:
As part of our terms and conditions we require a £600 (900 Euros) breakage deposit which is payable along with the rental balance or when the full amount is paid. All being well, we will return this amount to you at the end of your stay. If a problem is identified eg. breakages, damage, extra cleaning, excessive rubbish removal to the skip or bed linen stained with fake tan, the relevant amount will be deducted from your deposit and the balance returned to you. We prefer to return your breakage deposit via bank transfer.

Please note that as it is a business account, it is not possible to deposit cash into our Canfin Santander (formerly Abbey) account. Furthermore we are not in a position to accept credit card payments.
KEYS & DIRECTIONS:
Directions from the airport to CanFin will be emailed a week or so before you travel. We will also supply further information regarding house logistics & the local area. A key will also be posted about a week before your trip. Please bring the key back with you and post back to us as soon as possible - normal post is fine.
If visitors are coming from outside the UK then separate arrangements can be made regarding keys.
PRACTICAL POINTS:
Despite Ibiza being known as the party capital of the Med, it's important that you know that Es Cubells is a fairly exclusive and very quiet area. CanFin is not a detached house and there are neighbours in close proximity. While it is possible that you may not even see any neighbours during your stay, you will appreciate that the place is not suitable for parties or noise late at night. This really is a place to relax and unwind: its peaceful, unspoilt nature is what makes people want to come back.
1) CanFin is the middle property of 3 adjoining houses, all privately owned properties with their own private pools and no communal areas. Our neighbours are local owner-occupiers who do not rent out their houses.
2) In view of the large number of open terraces/balconies, the property may not be suitable for toddlers or young children.
3) There is no air conditioning in the house. There are however electric fans in each bedroom.
4) As in most of Ibiza the local tap water is partially de-salinated. Flagons of water for drinking and cooking are available from the local supermarket. Previous occupants should leave a large flagon of water for your use on arrival. Likewise please leave such a flagon for the next guests.
5) Hiring a car is essential while staying at CanFin because of its location. There is parking space for a maximum of 2 cars. Taxis can be booked from the local bar in Es Cubells 1km away.
6) BBQs are not recommended at CanFin because of the proximity & abundance of wild, dry vegetation. There is no fixed brick BBQ in place.
7) Our pool man comes weekly to clean the pool.
8) We provide bed linen, white bath towels and coloured beach towels.
9) When booking your flights please be aware that in high season the house will be available from 4pm (16:00) on the date of your booking to allow for cleaning & preparation. We ask that you vacate the house by 10am (10:00) on the date of your departure. Thanks. We regret it will not be possible for outgoing guests to leave their bags after 10am while waiting for a later flight.
10) Finally a word on security: despite CanFin’s out-of-the-way location, there is a safe in the house which we recommend you use for your valuables at all times.
