BEACHES

There are over 50 different beaches on Ibiza, each one with its own character and atmosphere. Some are sandy, some have pebbles, some are busy and easily reached, others are remote and secluded. There is a beach for all tastes. We have done but a fraction of them so far.

Es Cubells
The nearest to the house, directly below it. A short stretch of pebble beach, with a small sandy area. Sunshades and sunloungers available, and an excellent beach restaurant and bar. Usually quiet.

Cala d’Hort
The nearest big sandy beach, after passing through Es Cubells take the first road on the left for about 10 minutes. Shallow cordoned-off area for swimming. Two big restaurants overlooking the beach, great for paella. All beach amenities and motor-boat rental. Good for kids and best of all, the stunning view of Ibiza’s most famous big rock Es Vedra.

Cala Jondal
Take the Eivissa road and turn right to Sa Caleta. Long stretch of beach with several bars and very chilled atmosphere. Ambient music, shiatsu, reiki and re-birthing all on offer here.

Playa d’En Bossa
The biggest beach in Ibiza, long, wide and lined with tourist hotels, all amenities and bars including the famous Bora Bora bar. The southern part of the beach (furthest from Ibiza Town & hence nearer CanFin) is quieter, but you can still get some pedalo/banana boat action here. As with other beaches in Ibiza there are 'waiter' service beach bar areas here if you fork out for your sunshade and sunbeds.

Salinas
Very busy in high season, lovely long stretch of sand, past the salt flats, quite the place to pose. One of the few places that charges for parking in season. At the far end the sand gives way to little rocky coves, perfect for nude sunbathing. Nice beach restaurants here.

Es Cavallet
Also past the salt pans, long sandy beach with views back to Ibiza Town, Ibiza’s most famous gay beach. Restaurants, DJ’s.

Benirras
In the north, steep hills around the beach most famous for drum parties on summer Sunday evenings.

Cala Tarida
Two main sections of this sandy beach , with lots of amenities including banana boat rides.

Cala Comte
Great for sunset viewing, facing Sa Conillera and other small islands.
